Juventus ready for key Zaniolo meeting with Roma

Juventus are leading the race to sign Roma talent Nicolo Zaniolo this summer and they’re prepared for a new meeting with the Giallorossi.

It won’t be easy to pull off a deal for the 22-year-old Italian forward this summer but the Bianconeri are ready to try, keen to add the talent to Massimiliano Allegri’s squad in Turin. Zaniolo had a complicated season under Jose Mourinho and so far he’s not put pen to paper on a contract renewal, leaving his current deal to expire in 2024.

As reported by Tuttosport, both Juventus and Roma are keen to iron out a deal for Zaniolo this summer and it’s likely that a compromise will be reached to make everyone happy; the Giallorossi want around €50-60m for the 22-year-old, whilst the Bianconeri don’t want to pay over €40m plus add-ons.

The two parties will meet to further discuss a deal and Brazilian midfielder Arthur could be included in a possible agreement.
