Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot has scored his first goal in 50 appearances across all competitions against Maccabi Haifa.

The France international broke the deadlock in the first half at the Allianz Stadium, making the most of a brilliant through ball by Angel Di Maria.

As highlighted by Opta, it was Rabiot’s first goal since May 2021, when he found the net in an away game against Bologna. Andrea Pirlo was in charge of the Bianconeri at that time.

This means that the ex-PSG midfielder hadn’t scored a goal in the previous 50 games across all competitions with the Old Lady.

The 27-year-old racked up 45 appearances in 2021-22, delivering two assists but failing to find the net.

Juventus are 2-0 up after 60 minutes in a key Champions League game in Turin, having lost the previous two European fixtures against PSG and Benfica. Di Maria delivered the second assist of the night for Dusan Vlahovic.
