Adrien Rabiot put in another disappointing performance against Fiorentina and, according to Italian sports papers, he was the worst Juventus player on the pitch on Saturday.

The Frenchman is facing a tough time in Turin. Despite having played 11 games across all competitions, Massimiliano Allegri is still not impressed by his performances.

Before the match against Fiorentina, Allegri stressed that Rabiot ‘should do more’, but he still decided to start the former PSG man in Juventus’ 4-4-2 formation.

Rabiot played as left winger, not his natural position, but once again failed to impress and was rated 5/10 by all Italian sports. The worst rating for a Juventus player against La Viola.

The 26-year-old was replaced in the second half receiving boos from a part of Juventus fans. That prompted Leonardo Bonucci and Carlo Pinsoglio to stand up and clap the Frenchman to cheer him up while he was on his way to the bench.

After the game, Allegri said Rabiot played a ‘good game’ but he still seems to be far from the standards the Tuscan tactician expects.

4 thought on “Juventus: Rabiot disappoints again”
  1. If Allegri calls this performance good then he is blind. Rabiot is giving worse after worse performances and still able to start. This is purely on Allegri. Now I am starting to doubt Allegri selection.

  2. His mother must be very proud of him. Lazy, entitled and does not press enough. No wonder PSG were happy to get rid of him. I just hope Icardi does not arrive. No more drama please

  3. He’s being played out of position. He wasn’t this bad previously so clearly it’s because Allegri is asking him to do things he isn’t comfortable with. His poor showings are partly on the coach.
