Juventus have reportedly decided to focus their efforts on signing Paris Saint-Germain’s Leandro Paredes and Jose Mourinho’s Roma are keeping a close eye on the situation.

The Bianconeri looked dire in possession in their 0-0 draw with Sampdoria yesterday, with their build-up play entirely lacking and failing to produce anything of note. Juventus are working to pick up a new forward and have decided to focus on Olympique Marseille’s Arkadiusz Milik, meaning they’re now able to work on signing a new midfielder as well.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus are pushing forward for PSG’s Paredes, working to pick up the Argentinian midfielder on a loan deal with an obligation to buy clause attached. Should the Bianconeri delay, they could face serious competition from Mourinho’s Roma, who are looking for a new midfielder following the injury to Georginio Wijnaldum.

The completion of Paredes’ move could also be the key to allowing PSG to finalise a deal for Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz, which would also see Keylor Navas move to the Campania capital.
