New Juventus President Gianluca Ferrero and CEO Maurizio Scanavino spoke to the squad after the 15-point penalty and urged them to ‘unite in the face of injustice.’

The Bianconeri are the only club to have been penalised in the reopened trial into inflated transfer fees to artificially boost capital gains.

They were docked 15 points from the current Serie A table and plummeted from third place down to 10th in one fell swoop.

According to the latest reports, new Juve chiefs Ferrero and Scanavino met with the squad and coach Max Allegri this afternoon before tomorrow’s match against Atalanta.

“We must be united in the face of injustice and each do our jobs,” was the essence of their 15-minute speech to rally the troops.

“We will defend the club in the courts, and you do your job on the field by picking up points. Today more than ever, you represent millions of fans all over the world.”

Juventus have already confirmed they will appeal against the 15-point penalty, which also saw bans inflicted on many former directors including Fabio Paratici, Pavel Nedved and Andrea Agnelli.

The speech is similar to the comments made by coach Allegri in his press conference today, who urged the squad to “continue doing our duty.”
