Juventus are eager to make the most of youth team starlet Kenan Yildiz, who impressed so far in pre-season training, including a new contract and role.

The 18-year-old was born and raised in Germany, but plays his international football for Turkey at Under-21 level.

A product of the Bayern Munich academy, he was snapped up by Juve in 2022 and promoted in March to the Next Gen team, which plays in Serie C.

The striker has already impressed in pre-season training in Los Angeles and Il Bianconero claims Juve are trying to lock him down to a new contract, as the current deal only runs to June 2025.

Benfica and Fenerbahce have already made approaches for Yildiz, but Max Allegri is transferring him from the forward line to the midfield in a 3-5-2 formation, giving him a more attacking bent with few real defensive duties.

It is reported that if Fabio Miretti and Matias Soule go out on loan, then Yildiz will become a regular with the senior Juventus squad.
