Juventus are preparing to reward highly-rated teenager Kenan Yildiz with a new, long-term contract offer, and have begun discussing the idea with the 18-year-old’s representatives according to ereports on Saturday morning.

As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus were able to briefly speak with Yildiz’s agent, who was in attendance for the Old Lady’s 3-0 victory over Sassuolo on Tuesday evening after a brief trip to Saudi Arabia. Yildiz’s family were also at the Allianz Stadium earlier in the week.

Juventus’ encounter with Yildiz’s entourage on Tuesday was not an official meeting, but more formal discussions have been scheduled for the coming months according to Saturday’s update.

It is believed that Juve will attempt to sign Yildiz up to a long-term deal until the summer of 2028 or 2029.

Yildiz is currently contracted to the Bianconeri until the summer of 2027, but a new extension will also likely come with a significant increase in wages after an impressive start to life in the Juve first team.

La Gazzetta report that a contract extension could be made official in June or July.
