Pierre-Emile Højbjerg has reportedly been offered to Juventus, but the Bianconeri are still making their assessments and could pick Lazar Samardzic instead.

Calciomercato.com reports Højbjerg has been offered to Juventus by his new agents as the 28-year-old is struggling for playing time at Tottenham.

Højbjerg has been linked with a move to Turin for a few months, but Juventus are still not convinced about making an offer for the Denmark international in January.

According to the report, the Serie A giants are considering different options for midfield reinforcement, and although Højbjerg is one of their targets, he’s not the only one on the Bianconeri’s agenda.

According to the report, Juventus could go for an attacking midfielder who, on paper, would grant more goals and assists. This is why Udinese‘s Samardzic is also high on Juventus’ list.

The 21-year-old underwent medical with Inter last summer but didn’t join the Nerazzurri failing to agree to personal terms with Juventus’ harshest rivals.

Juventus will almost certainly sign a new central midfielder in the winter transfer window after Paul Pogba and Nicolò Fagioli received bans.
