Juventus are preparing for a significant squad overhaul in the summer with a long list of players linked with a possible move to Turin, ready to take up the spots that’ll be freed up.

The Bianconeri are ready to start a new era with Serbian star Dusan Vlahovic at the helm and their Champions League exit to Villarreal only confirmed their need to transform the squad in the upcoming summer transfer window in order to give Massimiliano Allegri the tools to return to the top.

Juventus want to reinforce every department from defence to attack, with Ryan Gravenberch topping the list of options for the midfield. Ajax want €35m for him, noticeably higher than the Bianconeri’s €25m offer.

Other midfield options include Barcelona’s Frenkie De Jong, Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans, Lille’s Renato Sanches, Manchester United’s Paul Pogba and Chelsea’s Jorginho. The least likely of these to arrive in Turin is De Jong, who recently expressed his love in Catalonia.

Options for defence include Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger and Marcos Alonso, Torino’s Gleison Bremer and Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic, with the German centre back the hardest to pull off a deal for. Idea for strengthening Juventus’ attack are Sassuolo’s Gianluca Raspadori and Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo, both of whom seem fairly achievable.

Juventus’ plan to overhaul their squad means that they need to work on their outgoing transfer market as well. The most important name on this list is forward Paulo Dybala, whose contract expires in the summer. It’s still unclear if he’ll sign a new deal or not, but his departure would free up a lot of space on the wage bill.

Alvaro Morata could also leave, depending on the requests of Atletico Madrid, and Moise Kean is set to depart as well. Alex Sandro, Adrien Rabiot, Arthur and Luca Pellegrini all could be shown the door in Turin this summer as well.

  1. Kean was a waste I saw coming. He’s not a quality player at all. Wasted 30 mill on garbage. Could’ve bought 2 mids or a mid of quality instead of him

  2. Haha why is that every single news about Juve lures all the trolls out. Now Juve stole Milan’s wish list 😂😂
Maybe spend more time on your own clubs, this is really getting pathetic

  3. Left footed center backs! Left footed midfielders! Wingers (left and right footed)! Attacking midfielders as playmakers!!!

Juve needs faster players that can play in a vertical way!

  4. @jacob & Gamal, totally agree. I thought having Allegri this season was going to be great for the club but not sure anymore. I always wanted Pirlo to stay.

  5. Maybe also hire a publicist to deal with all the iberia antics such as:
-what to do when iberia teams ask if they can water the pitch before a game
    – ramos hacking down balo and balo gets the card and not ramos
    – iniesta rolling in the hay
    – suarez biting players
    – anything to get the win
    – etc (it got so out if hand in euro 12 that prandelli wanted to take action

You overhaul juve and send them to iberia and in the last 5 mins you will get the same thing – iberia antics and histrionics where at the last 5 mins it suddenly becomes 20-0 for Iberia

    How is this Allegri’s fault?

  6. We see these stories about clubs overhauling most players all the time when there is a major upset. In the end, only a few players leave – mostly those out of contract – with maybe one player from the list of first choices actually joining the club.

  7. They need to start buying just 1-2 solid players and reduce number of bench warmers. Just two start midfielders and we are good. We don’t need another bunch of bench warmers. Stop it!

  8. Let’s face it any signings will be free transfers. Juve lost a lot of money going out of champions league.

And Pellegrini should stay. Shame Pirlo didn’t get this much financial support.

  9. Juves scouting department is a joke. Literally linked with all the players milan have been linked with. Reality is they haven’t got a clue who milan are after. Not even us Rossonero fans know who we’re after. The surprise signings of players like Salemaekers and Tomori could never be 2nd guessed by anyone. We seem to be the only team with any clue in Italy. It’s also about time FFP sanctioned teams like Juve or scrap it. Can’t punish some teams and not others and Juve are definitely spending what they haven’t got.

  10. The simple fact is that Juve needs to move on from the players that have consistently failed in the last 3 years – Rabbiot, Sandro, Dybala, Ramsay, Rugani and Arthur. Rudiger for Rugani and Jorginho for Arthur would be major upgrades, Gravenbach for Rabbiot, Zaniolo for Dybala, Rovella/Fagioli for Ramsay, and any left back with two arms and two legs for Sandro.
