Simone Padoin, Emanuele Giaccherini and Paul Pogba are all in competition with each other to start in their places.

At the back, Martin Caceres is expected to replace Giorgio Chiellini, while Mauricio Isla may step in for Stephan Lichtsteiner on the right of the 3-5-2.

In attack, Fabio Quagliarella should partner Nicklas Bendtner.

Bologna, meanwhile, will be without the banned Alessandro Diamanti. Manolo Gabbiadini, part-owned by Juve, could thus get a start.
