Juventus and Poland are worried after Arkadiusz Milik limped off with a knee injury during a friendly against Ukraine, just days before EURO 2024.
The centre-forward seemed to over-extend his left leg in a coming together with Genoa midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi.
He was helped off the field by medical staff, but there are real concerns he might’ve sustained knee ligament damage.
Milik has a very bad history of these injuries, having twice torn the anterior cruciate ligament in 2016 and again in 2017.
Tests planned for Milik injury
The 30-year-old made 36 competitive appearances for Juventus this season, scoring eight goals and providing one assist on the way to winning the Coppa Italia.
He has 17 goals in 73 senior caps for Poland, but missed the last European Championship due to injury.
Milik will undergo tests over the next few hours, but any kind of knee injury – even just a sprain – could potentially be enough to rule him out of the EURO 2024 campaign.
Poland open their group phase against the Netherlands on June 16, before facing Austria and France.
