According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United forward Anthony Martial is an option for Juventus in the January transfer window.

Juventus need a new striker as Massimiliano Allegri’s side have only scored 23 goals in 17 Serie A games this season.

Many forwards from all around Europe have been linked with a move to Turin in January, from Dusan Vlahovic to Edinson Cavani, from Mauro Icardi to Gianluca Scamacca.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United’s Anthony Martial is another option on the table for the Bianconeri.

The Frenchman wants to leave Old Trafford on loan or on a permanent deal.

His agent Philippe Lamboley confirmed earlier this week that the striker wants to go due to lack of playing time.

Juventus plot January deal for Icardi amid rumours of disagreements with Messi

“He just needs to play. He doesn’t want to stay in January and I will speak to the club soon,” he told Sky Sports UK.

Manchester United’s economic demands are quite high, so the Bianconeri would sign Martial on loan for six months, trying to sign a new striker at the end of the season.

Juventus’ signings also depend on their sales. Aaron Ramsey, Arthur and Dejan Kulusevski are on the market, but the Bianconeri are open to listening to offers for most of their players, so they can balance the books and boost their transfer budget in the winter transfer window.

  1. Martial is also known as bad apple in the locker room, but for the sake of the never-ending telenovela, just take Icardi!

THE SHOW MUST GO ON ^^

  2. If this deal is a loan with an option to buy, it could be worth the punt as there will be no obligation to buy if he fails.

The guys is clearly a good player, he needs a new environment to showcase what he’s about and I believe that he has the attributes to do well in Italy, same with Icardi.

For me a successful January window would be

Martial (Loan with option to buy)
Icardi (Loan with option to buy)
    Zakaria (purchase)
A Left Back (on loan or purchased)

  3. I would sooner see Icardi at Juventus than Martial. Two reasons> 1. Icardi is used to serie A and scored many goals there. 2. Martial just doesn’t score enough and seems to lack aggression. Juve need ANGRY players. The current squad is too nice.
