Started at right-back in a bold call from Massimiliano Allegri, and was booked after just four minutes for a foul on Perisic. Somehow managed to squeeze his shot past Handanovic for the Bianconeri’s leveller, though it may go down as a Milan Skriniar own goal.

Andrea Barzagli – 5

Booked for chopping down Icardi just outside the box in the first half, Scored an own goal in the second.

Daniele Rugani– 6

Came in for the much-maligned Mehdi Benatia and did a better job than the Moroccan has over the past few games.

Alex Sandro – 5

Booked for a late tackle on Rafinha and had a poor night, under hit or over crosses is his signature move at the moment.

Miralem Pjanic – 4

Booked for a tackle on Rafinha and should had been sent off for a second yellow, but somehow referee Daniele Orsato refused to deal with it and booked D’Ambrosio instead.

Sami Khedira – 6

Had acres of space to play in after Inter went down to 10 men and was influential in the first half, faded in the second.

Douglas Costa – 7

Scored the opening goal for Juve as Inter switched off defensive duties on a cross from Cuadrado.

Blaise Matuidi – 7

Boundless energy again from the Frenchman who thought he had scored a second goal for the Old Lady, but it was correctly ruled out for offside.

Gonzalo Higuain – 6

Was anonymous until he popped up to score the winning goal.

Mario Mandzukic – 7

Booked for a blatant block on Brozovic and had a busy night working up and down the field.

Was involved in both Juve goals when he came on.

Was brought on for Mandzukic as Allegri went in search of somehow getting back into the game.

Replaced Pjanic for the last few minutes as Juventus were lucky to still have 11 men on the pitch.
