Nicolo Fagioli shot to prominence with his Alessandro Del Piero-esque goal against Lecce yesterday and he’s already decided what his future holds at Juventus.

The 21-year-old Italian midfielder impressed whilst on loan with Cremonese last season, earning a spot in Massimiliano Allegri’s squad in Turin. He received a handful of appearances in the early stages of this season but wasn’t able to show his qualities, something he was finally given the chance to do yesterday.

Fagioli scored the winner for Juventus with a goal reminiscent of a former fan favourite, Del Piero, and he instantly enamoured himself to the supporters.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, it seemed likely that Fagioli would leave Juventus on loan in the upcoming January transfer window, but the player isn’t keen on the idea. The 21-year-old wants to stay in Turin and continue proving his abilities, with his confidence at an all-time high following his debut goal in Serie A.

Several teams have already expressed their interest in Fagioli but now he looks set to stay in Piedmont, ready to pounce on any chance given by Allegri.

  1. I want fegioli miretti and soule always in starting line up, and no matter if we miss champions league for one season, we need to make these players stars for ourselves and not let them go nowhere. Because with rabiot paredes makkeney locatelli we are lost for decade…

  2. Still not sure about Parades, he always seems a bit slow, at the moment I would always play Rabiot and Locatelli and build around them.

  3. a young winger off ours is not in action for around 20 days, thr blocking everything on here , cant write his name, country he’s from, whats up FI?

  4. most of my comments under Bettoni, Susi or Heyes post don’t appear. I think it’s a glitch of the system
