Juventus announce their goalkeeper Mattia Perin has tested positive for COVID.
“Juventus Football Club announces that the footballer Mattia Perin has tested positive for Covid-19. He is already observing the envisaged rules,” a club statement read.
Juventus return to the pitch on Sunday, February 6, in a home clash against Igor Tudor’s Hellas Verona.
Perin is a second-choice goalkeeper in Turin and has played six games across all competitions this season.
His contract runs out in the summer and Juventus still need to open talks to extend his stay at the club.
