Juventus are on the verge of closing out a deal for youth talent Kenan Yildiz, a teenager also wanted by Barcelona.

The 17-year-old Turkish forward is a product of Bayern Munich’s youth system and he stood out every step of the way, impressing in the various youth teams. Last campaign, he netted four goals and provided five assists in seven Under-17 league appearances, and at Under-19 level he scored twice and provided three assists in eight games.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Yildiz is now set to sign with Juventus, having arrived in Turin yesterday. He spent the day at the J-Hotel and his arrival is expected to be officially announced soon, with everything else complete now.

Yildiz is likely to start out in the Primavera squad, but he could quickly be promoted to the Under-23 side due to his qualities.

Barcelona had been keeping a close eye on Yildiz for a while but they lost out to Juventus, who made a decisive move this week.
