Leonardo Bonucci has reportedly been offered to Ajax for a year and the Juventus outcast is not entirely against the idea.

The defender was informed that he is not part of their plans for this season, as coach Max Allegri even left him out of the pre-season tour of the USA.

While the veteran had initially been determined to stick it out and change Allegri’s mind, he might be starting to look at other alternatives.

According to De Telegraaf’s podcast, one of the options is a spell at Ajax for the final season of his contract.

Because of his situation, the Bianconeri would be happy to let Bonucci leave for free or on loan, as long as they can get his salary off their books.

The Italy international turned 36 in May and maintains he can be part of the squad for the EURO 2024 tournament as long as he gets to play regularly at club level.

Sampdoria and Lazio were also mentioned as potential transfers for the man with 431 Serie A appearances under his belt.

  1. The Boss should have left after last season with dignity instead of staying around like a bad smell.
