Juventus invited around 200 to 300 fans to their Continassa training ground for today’s work, where Dusan Vlahovic received a warm welcome and Manuel Locatelli was seen recovering.

The Bianconeri briefly took the top spot in the Serie A table this weekend after a resilient 2-1 win over Monza, before Inter’s statement 3-0 win over Napoli pushed the Old Lady back down to second.

Sitting just two points behind the Nerazzurri, Juventus are hoping to take advantage of any little slip up by Simone Inzaghi’s side and their lack of European competition could give them a slight edge as the second half of the season progresses.

Calciomercato.com details how Massimiliano Allegri mostly focused on possession work in today’s session, giving a lighter workload to those who featured against Monza on Friday. The players who were used less or not at all carried out a training match to close out the session.

Vlahovic received a warm welcome from the fans present and did some extra penalty work after the training match, scoring four out of four against Wojciech Szczesny and one out of two against Carlo Pinsoglio.

Daniele Rugani was absent due to flu, whilst Locatelli and Alex Sandro carried out their individual recovery programmes separately on the pitch. Timothy Weah was unavailable due to his hamstring injury.
