Juventus are considering picking up Atalanta technical director Giovanni Sartori following initial contacts.

The Bianconeri are unhappy with their position following their Champions League exit to Villarreal earlier this week and they’re looking to shake things up at a management level a little in order to get things back on track.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have opened initial talks with Sartori regarding a possible move in the summer. The 64-year-old Italian director is set to leave Atalanta after eight years following a serious falling out with coach Gian Piero Gasperini.

This’ll be the end of an era in Bergamo as Sartori was a key part of the team’s rise. Whilst Juventus are keen to pick him up, they’ve also added Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli to their candidate list.

Sartori has also been linked with moves to Serie B side Parma and Bologna, although it’s highly probable that Juventus would be the more convincing option.

  1. They should REALLY shake things up by getting rid of Agnelli. The guy has lost the plotv and severely damaged reputation in recent years with his hubris.
