Juventus have agreed a deal with Genoa for talented midfielder Michele Besaggio, reports suggest.

The Bianconeri are always active in the Italian youth market, keen to snap up exciting talents. Recent examples of this include Andrea Cambiaso and Nicolo Rovella, both of whom also joined from Genoa.

As reported by Sky Sports Italia, Juventus have now agreed to sign Besaggio from Genoa on a loan deal with a buy option attached. The negotiations are now in the final phase and things are expected to be finalised in the coming days.

The talented 20-year-old Italian midfielder is likely to be sent to the Under-23 squad, although he could go back out on loan, possibly returning to Genoa.

Besaggio was a product of Vicenza’s youth system but was let go by the Veneto club in June 2018. Six weeks later he signed for Genoa, spending the last four years progressing through the youth system in Liguria.
