Juventus deliver the latest injury updates for Leonardo Bonucci and Paul Pogba.

The Italy international started against Sampdoria on Sunday night but was subbed off during the break, while Pogba wasn’t included in the squad list due to a muscle injury.

Both players underwent medical checks at J Medical on Monday morning.

“Bonucci suffered a blunt trauma to his left leg and his conditions will be monitored daily, meanwhile Paul Pogba suffered a low-grade tear to his right thigh adductor,” the Bianconeri said in an official statement.

“He [Pogba] has already started with the rehabilitation process aimed at resuming competitive activity.”

Both players are expected to miss Thursday’s second leg of the Europa League Round of 16 against SC Freiburg.

The Old Lady won the first leg 1-0 in Turin last week.

Pogba has only made two appearances for the Old Lady since his return as a free agent from Manchester United last summer when he signed a four-year deal with the Bianconeri.

Bonucci has also been dealing with several injuries this term missing 13 games across all competitions. The Italy international has played 21 games this term, scoring two goals.
