Juventus have announced Federico Bernardeschi and Moise Kean have avoided any serious injuries but their ‘conditions will be monitored day by day’.

Kean was not involved against Inter on Sunday, as he suffered a strain in his right thigh during training on Saturday.

The former Everton striker underwent tests at J|Medical today, together with Bernardeschi, who was replaced by Rodrigo Bentancur after 18 minutes at San Siro on Sunday.

The Italy international was severely bruised and went off with a ‘slight distortion of the right shoulder’ in the first half of the 1-1 draw with the Nerazzurri, but the winger has avoided any serious damage.

Juventus ready to renew with Bernardeschi?

“Bernardeschi, during last night’s match, reported a slight distortion of the right shoulder,” the club wrote in a statement.

“The exams to which he was subjected excluded any capsule-ligament injuries. Kean, following the muscle strain in his right thigh reported at the end of training on Saturday, underwent diagnostic tests that excluded muscle injuries.

“The conditions of both will be monitored day by day.”

The Bianconeri continue their preparations for the next match against Sassuolo on Wednesday and are currently on a run of nine games without defeat.

Allegri’s men sit sixth in the League with 15 points from the first nine league games and are trailing leaders Milan and Napoli by 10 points.
