Juventus insist Pavel Nedved was not unhappy with Paulo Dybala’s substitution, but Il Corriere della Sera insists that the club’s vice president and Max Allegri are no longer on good terms.

Sky Sport Italia showed a video of Nedved shaking his head in despair while Max Allegri was subbing off Dybala in Juventus’ 2-1 win over Cagliari on Saturday night. The Argentinean had delivered the assist for Dusan Vlahovic’s winner only a few minutes earlier.

According to club sources quoted by Il Corriere della Sera, the video does not refer to the moment of Dybala’s substitution. Allegri also said it had probably been taken in another moment.

However, Nedved still taunted Allegri before the match, saying that reaching a top four finish is Juventus’ minimum target this season and that nobody complimented the Bianconeri after their 1-0 loss against Inter last week.

According to Il Corriere della Sera, the rapport between the coach and the former winger is not ideal and the atmosphere at Continassa is ‘not quiet.’ Juventus sacked Allegri in 2019 despite winning 11 trophies in five seasons.

President Andrea Agnelli was against the coach’s dismissal, but according to multiple reports in Italy, Nedved pushed to part ways with the Tuscan tactician telling the club president that he’d have resigned had he not fired Allegri.

  1. Another non story
“Sky Sport Italia showed a video of Nedved shaking his head in despair”… And how do these telepathic reporters know that it was in despair? Why make up bull?
Maybe he did or did not disagree with that substitution, but who cares? How is that evidence that someone has fallen out? This is the worst kind of reporting. Up your standards on this tabloid site.

  2. If one of them leaves in the near future it seems destined to be Nedved. I don’t see him having the clout to push Allegri out again, as they’ve just signed him to a 5 year deal at 9m, and the first time Allegri was dismissed didn’t turn out so well. It may be for the best as Nedved is basically the only one to have survived previous shake ups, and maybe he is past his expiration date.

  3. There is still 3 years in Allegri’s contract. He is going nowhere fortunately. So blondie nedved better get used to him around.

    Forza Allegri!

  4. @Forza Moggi
Ramsey has 2 years of contract left too, yet he is in Scotland and will never ever see Juve’s jersey again.

  5. Well what does Nedved actually do at Juventus?
Is he just Agnellis right hand man doing the dirty work (like firing Allegri) or does he actually have anything to say?

  6. This story is worthless. HOWEVER:

if Allegri really wanted to substitute Dybala in the 60th minute in that game then we are really doomed

  7. I truly hope Nedved stays at this filthy club for LIFE. They deserve each other.

  8. That is why Moggi and Marotta were the best as the once great Juventus would never air their dirty laundry in public. Now they have a cigarette salesman, a President focused on a Super League (Juve not super) and PhD Max with his advanced doctorate in catenaccio studies. Nedved seems the only one on the ball as he knows and sees the style of play weekly when the whipping boys of Europe (7/9) struggle to even get 1 or 2 goals against anybody. The last time they hit 5 goals was with Conte against Fiorentina and before that in 1901 lol.

  9. So much envy towards Juve. Eat lemons guys because this is the last rebuilding year. Enjoy your one or two serie A titles every 15 or so years. Lol. Clowns.

  10. @Lord Allegri — I’m going to stop scrolling to the comments because I’m so sick of seeing your comments and exhaustive sarcasm.

    Forza Juve.

  11. The thing is the Lord Patron is actually speaking the truth and it hurts Juve fans to get a dose of reality. Juventus have not improved in anyway over the last 5 years I would say. Sure they won title after title, but it was laboured by their standards and the opponents were in a mess. Not taking anything away from Juve as to win for 9 years was record breaking and no other team is going to repeat that, not even close. But looking at the present there is no cohesive leadership on the field and it seems off the field they are at a crossroads. I think The Ronaldo thing broke the wisdom that has guided this club.

  12. lord Allergi patron of …, please don’t ever stop commenting, your witty sarcasm and knowledge of football is the only saving Grace of this comment section. Your posts hit the nail every single time

I enjoy reading your comments a great deal

  13. Dear JOYJOUS thank you.

@Kevin Kleenex tissues can help you as I know it is hard to watch the back, back, down, down slow ball every week.

  14. Many people have put Allegri down this year, but he gets results by playing it safe. It’s not exciting, and if we didn’t have so many key players injured I would bet his chances of winning the league are high.

Yes we are out of Champions League, and yes the title feels just out of reach, but we still are fighting for the Coppa and we will have a fresh season where Allegri will be able to mold the team to his style of play.

    Fino alla fine

  15. @Lord Allegri, get a life freak! You reply your own comment (joyjous football fan). That shows how low your real life is.

  16. Debu your life must be even more pathetic as you brought no discussion to the table. @Slow ball Patron has an opinion and you are entitled to one as well. I will give him credit for 2 things. The first is being consistent with Allegri unlike a lot of fans and able to be quirky. You Sir are a miserable git and your rant somes up your angry life.
