Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is continuing to shine in the Lazio midfield and with less than two years left on his contract, Juventus are keeping a close eye on the situation.

The 27-year-old Serbian midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer but a deal never materialised as they failed to make a convincing offer to president Claudio Lotito. Despite the fact that he could impress at any top club in Europe, Milinkovic-Savic has never put his foot down and forced a move away from the Italian capital.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Lazio are hoping to tie down Milinkovic-Savic to a new deal  lasting until 2026 but his agent Mateja Kezman doesn’t want to open talks until after the World Cup in Qatar. Juventus are watching the situation closely and are planning a possible move next summer.

The Bianconeri are hoping to include some players in exchange for the 27-year-old Serbian star but it’s hard to imagine Lotito accepting this situation, as he’s held out for pure cash offers in the past.
