Weston McKennie is now only a step away from completing his move to Leeds after carrying out his medicals with the Premier League club.

The Bianconeri are willing to cash in on the 24-year-old American midfielder this month as they look to start a squad overhaul following a change in direction off the pitch. McKennie has featured regularly for Juventus this season, scoring three goals and providing five assists across 21 appearances.

As highlighted by Fabrizio Romano, McKennie has now completed his medicals with Leeds and is only a step away from putting pen to paper on his deal with the English side. The Juventus midfielder is joining on a €1.2m loan deal with a €33m buy option attached, which could rise to €40m based on add-ons.

The Bianconeri picked up McKennie from Schalke 04 in September 2020, initially on a €4.5m loan before making the move permanent a year later for around €20.5m.
