Juventus have a lack of goals from their midfield and are interested in making a move for Napoli target Teun Koopmeiners, reports suggest.

The Bianconeri have scored 12 goals so far this season, four of which came from Federico Chiesa and another four from Dusan Vlahovic. The remaining goals came from Adrien Rabiot, Arkadiusz Milik and Danilo, with Matias Vina’s own goal in the loss to Sassuolo also contributing.

One Serie A midfielder who has no trouble scoring is Koopmeiners, who netted 10 goals and provided four assists in 33 league games last season for Atalanta. His impressive work in Bergamo has generated interest across the peninsula.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Atalanta rejected multiple offers from Napoli for Koopmeiners in the summer, but the defending champions are expected to return to the charge next year.

Juventus only sounded out a possible move, keeping themselves out of the race due to their financial limitations. Next summer, however, things will be different and the Bianconeri could seriously look to fight Napoli for the 25-year-old’s signature.
