Former Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio has set up his own player agency with Alessandro Tocci and is looking to bring Newcastle United’s Loris Karius to Serie A.

The ex-Bianconeri man hung up his boots at the end of the 2018-19 season after a one-season spell with Zenit Saint Petersburg. He famously spent 25 years of his life attached to the Old Lady from 1993 to 2018, joining as a boy before developing into a first-team regular.

Marchisio has been active since retiring from football, writing a follow up book about his life and contributing as a columnist to newspaper Corriere della Sera. Some fans have called on him to return to Juventus in some fashion, but nothing has developed on that front.

As reported by TMW, Marchisio has set up a player agency with Alessandro Tocci called ‘Circum’, which already represents a handful of young talents including Bayer Munich’s Davide Dell’Erba and Inter’s Francesco Stante.

Another player represented by Marchisio’s Circum is Karius, the third-choice keeper at Newcastle who is most famous for his unfortunate performance in the Champions League final with Liverpool  in the 2017-18 season.

The German shot stopper, who recently had a child with DAZN present Diletta Leotta, is now angling for a move to Serie A, having failed to show much of note with Newcastle.
