Juventus executives have donated their residual holidays to pay employees of the stores in Milan and Turin.

The Old Lady announced the decision to give up and donate chunks of their ‘outstanding holidays’ to ‘guarantee full compensation to personnel’ in the club shops.

“Recent regulations have suspended the activity of the Milan and Turin sale points, effectively making it impossible for some employees of Juventus Football Club to work,” the club wrote in a statement.

“Recent regulations have suspended the activity of the Milan and Turin sale points, effectively making it impossible for some employees of Juventus Football Club to work,” the club wrote in a statement.

“To avoid resorting to layoffs and to guarantee full remuneration to all personnel involved in these measures, all the managers of the club have decided to donate large parts of their residual holidays.

“This is an innovative solution, called ‘Banca Ferie Solidiali’, which currently allows, by virtue of spirit of solidarity between categories, to avoid resorting to traditional social safety nets, more penalising for workers income.”
