Juventus will have to do without high-flying striker Dusan Vlahovic in their coming league match with Udinese.

The 24-year-old Serbian forward has recently hit a vein of rich form, scoring seven goals in his last seven league games, earning him the award for the Serie A Player of the Month for January. His scoring streak came to an end in the painful Derby d’Italia defeat to Inter last weekend.

Vlahovic was also left with a muscle issue following the loss to the Nerazzurri, an issue that’s kept him out of squad training at Continassa this week. Massimiliano Allegri doesn’t want to do without the Serbian striker but also isn’t willing to risk exacerbating his condition.

Football Italia understands that Vlahovic again failed to join his Juventus teammates in today’s training session, ruling him out of the upcoming clash with Udinese on Monday next week. He carried out individual work, managing his recovery carefully.

Fabio Miretti returned to squad training today after recovering from a short bout of flu symptoms, allowing him to start preparations for the coming league match.
