Juventus will be without Aaron Ramsey for several weeks after he was diagnosed with an adductor strain, also ruling him out of international duty with Wales.
The midfielder started Sunday’s opening Serie A game against Udinese, which ended 2-2 at the Dacia Arena.
A statement confirms tests showed a low-grade injury to the adductor major muscle in his right thigh.
More tests will be performed and his condition will be re-evaluated in 10 days’ time to ascertain the length of the recovery process.
It also means Ramsey has to pull out of the upcoming Wales matches, World Cup qualifiers against Belarus and Estonia in early September.
This also further puts a dampener on Juve attempts to sell Ramsey this summer, failing to find any club willing to carry his €7m per season salary even for a loan spell.
The 30-year-old has suffered numerous injury problems, almost all of them muscular, since joining Juventus as a free agent from Arsenal in July 2019.
He has made just 66 competitive appearances for the Bianconeri, scoring six goals and providing six assists.

sick note at it again, one of our worst signing ever made
Blessing in disguise- now Allegri will be forced to play Locatelli
I pray the injury last forever. We do not need him
Great news, although Allegri’s tactics will still set us back in midfield.
Locatelli takes his spot in the CM which was expected. Question now is who his vice is? I hope not Bentacur as he has proven he can’t play that role.
All the Best Loca 👍👊🍀
OMG this guy… is so useless. lol
