The Bianconeri missed out on Julian Draxler, with the Schalke midfielder instead moving to Wolfsburg, and it was thought the Tottenham Hotspur man could be an alternative.
However, according to Calciomercato, the Spurs midfielder will instead move to Marseille in Ligue 1, likely to be on an initial loan basis.
L’OM are also ready to sign Juve wing-back Mauricio Isla, but the website reports that Paolo De Ceglie will not be moving to Marseille.
It’s believed the left-back has had a change of heart, and will opt to stay in Italy, rather than make the move to France, with the Old Lady now having to try and find an Italian team to sell to.
