Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli partially trained with the group on Friday, but he remains in doubt for Sunday’s game against Inter.

The Italy international sustained a broken rib during Juventus’ latest Serie A game against Cagliari before the international break.

For this reason, he had to withdraw from Italy’s squad for matches against North Macedonia and Ukraine continuing his recovery at Continassa.

Several sources in Italy, including Sky Sport Italia and Romeo Agresti, claim Locatelli partially trained with the group today.

According to the Italian broadcasters, this doesn’t mean the 25-year-old will be available against the Nerazzurri on Sunday.

Locatelli is still far from being fully fit and Allegri will decide whether to include him in Juventus’ squad list only on Sunday.

The Italian tactician will likely start Adrien Rabiot, Weston McKennie and Fabio Miretti in central midfield on Sunday.

Miretti is also not fully fit having recently recovered from low back pain.
