Juventus and Liverpool are in ‘direct talks’ for Federico Chiesa while the Italy international is finalising an agreement on personal terms with the Reds, reports Fabrizio Romano.

Juventus and Chiesa are in advanced talks with Liverpool as the Reds emerge as the primary candidate to secure the winger’s signature this summer. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Barcelona are no longer in the race to sign the 26-year-old.

The Pink Paper and Fabrizio Romano report that the Italian winger has almost reached an agreement with the Reds while talks between clubs progress.

Juventus’ asking price for Chiesa is reported to be around €15m.

“The agreement between Federico Chiesa and Liverpool on personal terms is almost done! Final details being sorted today,” Romano said on X, formerly Twitter.

According to Romano, Liverpool have offered Chiesa a four-year contract.

Chiesa’s deal in Turin expires in June 2025 and the Italian star has been training separately for the whole summer as he’s not part of Thiago Motta’s plans.
