Reports in Portugal claim that Juventus have made an approach for Benfica left-back Alejandro Grimaldo, but they face competition from Arsenal and Newcastle.
It is well known that the Bianconeri are seeking reinforcements on the left side of defence, with Alex Sandro expected to move on soon.
According to A Bola in Portugal, Juve have asked Benfica for information on their 26-year-old talent.
They were told that the asking price is going to be in the region of €15-20m.
A product of the Barcelona youth academy, Grimaldo contributed six goals and nine assists in 47 competitive matches for Benfica this season.
There is bound to be a bidding war for the Spanish player, because he has also been linked with Premier League sides Arsenal and Newcastle United.
Meanwhile, Alex Sandro impressed on international duty for Brazil this week, providing two assists and earning a couple of penalties in the 5-1 friendly win over South Korea.

So now … Italian teams have to buy Portuguese defenders for 15 million? Sad.
He looks good to be fair.
