Juventus are close to agreeing a deal with Olympique Marseille for striker Arkadiusz Milik, reports claim.

The Bianconeri are looking to add a new forward to Massimiliano Allegri’s squad after the departure of Alvaro Morata last month. Their primary target for the last few weeks has seemingly been outgoing Barcelona striker Memphis Depay, but his increased demands have pushed Juventus to consider other alternatives.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Marseille have agreed to send Milik to Juventus on a €2m loan deal with a €8m buy option attached. The player would earn around €3.5m net per season in Turin.

The 28-year-old Polish striker has not particularly impressed new coach Igor Tudor on the French Riviera and the Ligue 1 side are open to a sale. Milik joined Marseille in January 2021 from Napoli on a €4m loan deal with a €8m buy option attached. He’s scored 30 goals in 55 games for the club.
