N’Golo Kante’s Chelsea future is reportedly in doubt as he enters the final months of his contract and Juventus are keeping a close eye on the situation.

The 31-year-old French midfielder, who joined the Blues in July 2016 from Leicester City, has hardly featured for the Premier League giants this season, playing just 175 minutes of action across two Premier League appearances.

Since August of last year, Kante has been sidelined with a hamstring injury, which has seen him miss 31 matches already this season.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, doubts are emerging over Kante’s future and Chelsea are seriously considering letting him leave on a free transfer when his contract expires in the summer.

A number of clubs around Europe have started to keep an eye on the situation and Juventus are amongst them, keen on the idea of snapping up the 2018 World Cup winner in a low-cost deal.

Kante is not currently a priority for the Bianconeri but things could change as the summer approaches.
