Juventus keeping tabs on Bologna midfielder Ferguson – report

Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli was reportedly in the stands of the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara to watch Bologna midfielder Lewis Ferguson recently.

The 24-year-old Scot joined the Rossoblu from Aberdeen in the summer of 2021 in a deal worth around €3.5m total, a fee that already looks like a bargain in hindsight.

Ferguson is quietly one of the most important players in Thiago Motta’s Bologna squad, seeing almost every available minute of action this term. In his first 12 games of the term, he’s scored three goals and provided four assists.

As reported by Tuttosport via TMW, Juventus are keeping a close eye on Ferguson ahead of a possible move next summer and Giuntoli decided to personally scout the Scottish midfielder during their win over Lazio, where he scored the decisive goal.

The Old Lady are not alone in their interest, however, as Fulham and Nottingham Forest are also keeping tabs on the 24-year-old talent.
