Juventus are preparing to pick up a new right back in the January transfer window and they’ve started considering a move for Leicester City’s Timothy Castagne, repots suggest.

The 26-year-old Belgian full back spent three years with Atalanta before joining the Foxes in September 2020 in a deal worth around €20m. Whilst his first two seasons in Leicester went well, this campaign has been poor from the team and they’re currently languishing at the bottom of the Premier League table, only picking up one point from their opening seven games.

As reported by Calciomercato.it, some Leicester players may push for a move in January should things continue going poorly and Castagne could be one of these. Juventus were already keen on the Belgian in the past and may return to the charge in the winter, desperate to inject some life on the sides of their defence.

The Bianconeri are also looking to pick up a new left back and they’re keen on Benfica’s Alejandro Grimaldo, whose contract expires with the Portuguese side next summer.
