Juventus have sent an opening offer to sign Pierre Kalulu from Milan, but according to Tuttosport, the two clubs are also considering a swap deal between Federico Chiesa and Alexis Saelemaekers.

Juventus must sign a new defender this summer and Milan’s Pierre Kalulu is the latest name added to their wish list. Matteo Moretto and Tuttosport newspaper claim that the Bianconeri have already sent a formal offer to sign Kalulu on loan for €3m. The offer includes an option to buy for €14m in 2025 and a 10% sell-on clause.

Milan have already signed Strahinja Pavlović and will soon announce Emerson Royal from Tottenham, but they’d rather sell Kalulu on a permanent transfer, so the Bianconeri’s proposal hasn’t been accepted yet.

At the same time, according to a different report from Tuttosport, Juventus and Milan have been in touch regarding a potential swap deal between Chiesa and Saelemaekers.

Chiesa is on the market for technical and financial reasons, given that he won’t sign a new deal, with a contract expiring next year, while Saelemaekers has returned to Milan after a convincing loan spell at Bologna under Thiago Motta.

Talks are not at an advanced stage, but according to Tuttosport, Juventus and Milan have opened preliminary discussions regarding a potential swap deal.

Chiesa’s agent, Fali Ramadani, also recently visited Casa Milan to discuss Luka Jovic’s future, another of his clients under contract with the Rossoneri.
