Fans and pundits react to a a 1-1 draw between Juventus and Inter claiming both sides should be happy with the result but some Bianconeri supporters feel the Nerazzurri’s equaliser should have been disallowed.
Inter star Lautaro Martinez cancelled out a Dusan Vlahovic goal at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday, helping the Nerazzurri secure a draw in Turin and retain the top spot in Serie A.
Fans and pundits have reacted on social media and most agree that the result is pleasing for both sides. It was an enjoyable game, especially in the opening 45 minutes and overall both Juventus and Inter supporters seem satisfied.
Nevertheless, some Bianconeri fans have been complaining as they feel Lautaro’s equaliser should have been disallowed for a Matteo Darmian foul on Federico Chiesa in the build-up.
Initially, Darmian appeared to have elbowed Chiesa, hitting his compatriot in the face. However, replays proved otherwise and referee pundits in Italy agree that the official and VAR were right not to disallow Inter’s goal.
