Juventus and Cagliari will reportedly discuss both Nahitan Nandez and Kaio Jorge today in a possible last minute deal.

The Bianconeri are already in talks for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria and a deal has reportedly been reached on the basis of €5-7m. The Turin side are first working to complete Dejan Kulusevski’s transfer to Tottenham before returning focus to their incoming market.

As reported by Romeo Agresti, Juventus will discuss Nandez and Kaio Jorge with Cagliari today, and the Bianconeri are seriously interested in signing the Uruguayan midfielder in addition to Zakaria, significantly strengthening coach Massimiliano Allegri’s midfield.

The 26-year-old Nandez has been one of the few bright spots in the Sardinian squad this season, and he will be an important signing for Allegri, who is fighting to secure a top four finish with Juventus this season.

It has been a strong January transfer window so far for Juventus, with Dusan Vlahovic’s arrival in particular being the highlight, and pulling off deals for both Zakaria and Nandez would truly top off a good month in Turin.

  1. No he is not good enough
We are talking of Juve 1 of biggest clubs in Europe and we buying players from Mid clubs who are tried and tested and not ready or skill for the best teams in Europe

    Sorry Juve
    You have destroyed the club

Go South America Scout some great attacking midfielder and develop
Buying Nandes or Zakh are just not good enough

    Why get rid of Kulu
Nedved have u still not learnt from your bad history of bad decisions in the market

I am LAUGHING so much at
    Ramsey
    Rabiot
    Arthur
    Sandro
    Danilo
    Bentacaur
    Kean

What a joke of a squad
    With no real market value

  2. Jaz, I’m not sold on Nandez, but Zakaria is a very good player and just what we need in front of our defence.
Bentancur likely to go to Tottenham. Ramsay, Sandro and Rabbiot will likely be cleared out in the summer. The required changes are taking place but it takes time.
As for Kulu it may be a loss or it may not – time will tell – but we will at least have recouped our money + $5M.

  3. He’ll be a squad player which you need in a long season. Challenging players like Arthur and Rabiot. Personally I’m glad to see Kulu gone. He might be a talent one day but he wasn’t good enough for juve. He had no pace. Maybe Juve are thinking about a change of formation to 442 or 352.

  4. if juve get him you feel like allegri will use him like how he did with Vidal. playing him in the hole just behind the main strikers in a 4312. even though allegri can still play a 4231 as well with him.
