Juventus are feeling optimistic regarding the conditions of Federico Chiesa and Adrien Rabiot after today’s training session.

The Bianconeri will face Sassuolo on January 16, the last match of the 20th round, and are desperate to secure a win following Inter’s thrashing of Monza on Saturday evening, wanting to keep up the pressure in the title race.

Juventus have won five of their last six Serie A matches and have progressed to the Coppa Italia semi-final, where they’ll face Lazio. Despite the off-pitch troubles of the last 18 months, Massimiliano Allegri has put the team in contention for two trophies this term.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Chiesa carried out the entirety of today’s squad training session with his Juventus teammates and is now aiming to take part in the coming clash with Sassuolo.

Adrien Rabiot is still training individually for the time being, but is expected to join his teammates for the training session on Monday.

Chiesa missed Juventus’ last two matches due to knee problems, whilst Rabiot missed out of the Coppa Italia win over Frosinone due to a thigh issue.
