Juventus are looking to make a move for Empoli talent Fabiano Parisi in January but an obstacle has hindered talks for the Lazio target, reports detail.

The 22-year-old Italian left back has emerged as one of the most talented and intriguing youngsters in Serie A, being a key figure in the Empoli squad. Parisi has been in the eye of a number of clubs for a while now and his performances this season have continued to draw praise, scoring two goals in 14 Serie A appearances.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Juventus are big fans of Parisi and have been in contact with Empoli for a little while now. Things had been looking good but the 22-year-old’s €15m price tag could stop them completing a deal in January.

Lazio are also keen on the Italian left back and have held talks with his entourage. The Roman outfit still need to decide if they want to make a move in January or wait until the summer.

The Biancocelesti have also been linked with a move for Luca Pellegrini, who Juventus could sell to raise funds for the Parisi deal, but the player’s €3m net per season salary and Eintracht Frankfurt’s willingness to keep him until the summer have seemingly slammed the brakes on this idea.
