Thanks to Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes, Juventus are the club with the most World Cup winning players in history, reaching 27.

Argentina lifted the trophy after a penalty shoot-out victory over Adrien Rabiot’s France this evening in Qatar.

Di Maria won a spot-kick and scored the second goal in the 3-3 thriller, before he was taken off after 65 minutes, while Paredes was a substitute in extra time.

Their presence in the Argentina squad means Juventus have seen 27 of their players lift the World Cup, more than any other club in history.

Bayern Munich follow on 24, while Inter now have 21 thanks to Lautaro Martinez in the current Argentina squad.

Roma come in next on 17, bolstered by Paulo Dybala in the Qatar 2022 edition.

  1. Do not worry bout how many world cup winners. Win the European cup instead of losing it 7 times. Play the youngsters and stop seeling the top players in their prime. The best european era was when in the 70s they recruit Gentile, Scirea Cabrini, Tardelli, Rossi, Vignola, Brio etc. Stop buying rubbish from overseas on a free transfer PLEASE

  2. and zero international titles during this century and going strong for nearly 3 decades. Very similar to Chipland FC where nothing is coming home, only luggage lol.

  3. lol I am not even talking about Italy. News flash Italy won in 2006 as well. The clue is in 3 decades (7/9) and yes the club world cup is an international competition, but you first have to win the CL. Similar paths to Chipland FC. Another 3 trillion light years away.
