Juventus could seal Benedikt Howedes from Schalke 04 tomorrow, claim Sky Sport Italia, on loan with option to buy for a total €10m.

This evening, Bianconeri director Beppe Marotta already confirmed Howedes was “an option, in fact more than a hypothesis” with negotiations in progress.

According to Sky Sport Italia pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, the two clubs have basically agreed terms already and the player also gave the all-clear.

Howedes fits the bill for Max Allegri, as he is a centre-back who can also play on the right or left of defence.

Inter and Liverpool have also shown interest in the German international.
