CR7 was so shocked to be dismissed that he burst into tears, and as he walked off Nedved was seen comforting him.

According to Marca, the Czech legend was absolutely furious with the referee, and he and two other directors attempted to confront the official at half-time.

However, Brych and his assistants went straight to their dressing room without answering the protests of the Juve delegation.
