With Cristiano Ronaldo joining Manchester United, Juventus have chosen a return of their own, Moise Kean on loan with option or obligation to buy from Everton.

It remains entirely possible that Juve will try to replace CR7 with two forwards, just as Inter did when Romelu Lukaku was sold to Chelsea.

Juve already have forwards in the squad like Paulo Dybala, Alvaro Morata, Kaio Jorge and the versatile Federico Chiesa and Federico Bernardeschi too.

According to Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia, the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and others are of no interest to Juventus or coach Max Allegri.

They want young forwards, preferably on loan so as to avoid commitment, and the ideal there would be Mauro Icardi from PSG.

The main target is Kean, who came up through the Juventus youth academy since 2011 and was sold to Everton for €27.5m plus bonuses in 2019.

Ferdinand, Fernandes and Guardiola: How Ronaldo went from Man City to Utd

He never settled in England, but flourished during a loan spell at Paris Saint-Germain last term, finding the net 17 times in 41 competitive appearances.

Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà maintains Kean is eager for the return and has already agreed personal terms with Juventus, so they are whittling down the details with Everton.

It’s primarily now about the formula of the move, as Everton want it to be a loan with obligation to buy for €25m, whereas Juve are trying to give themselves more wiggle room.

Kean already knows Juve, Allegri and the forwards he would be working with, while he was born and raised near Turin.

14 thought on “Juventus focus on Kean to replace Cristiano Ronaldo”
  1. Juve’s transfer strategy continues to be mind-boggling.

Who’s next? We bring back Pjanic? Mandzukic? Let’s get the old band back together??

It’s a shame CR7 didn’t leave earlier in the window so that we could net 28m euros and spend the 10m to sign Donnaruma. Donnaruma is literally a champion, best keeper on the planet, has the bulk of his career AHEAD of him, and fits the Juve mentality and profile. Not to mention the added bonus of adding another Azzurro to the squad.

While Locatelli is hugely refreshing and a great signings, it’s hard NOT to feel like the club and Allegri are looking backwards.

  2. Would be great to have you back Moise. You can now realise that potential in an environment you know well and are comfortable in with a manager that first gave you your start in the Serie A and UCL.

  3. Kean is a very good player but he is not a true replacement for CR7,so i do not understand why say it. Juve will never replace Ronaldo so forget it, Allegri will be lucky to win anything this season with a this squad,He will have produce a miracle in managerial terms as these players lack chemistry to produce any thing great. What i say i know is harsh but i am a realist.I hope i am wrong as a follower of JFC.

    Forza Juve

  4. @Italboy, you disrespect Allegri and Juventus squad with your comment. It’s safe to say Chiesa is BETTER than grandpa Ronaldo. Chiesa has everything ON the PITCH to make Juve fans forget that grandpa. He is humble, a team player, he has good shooting and passing accuracy, super speed, great dribbler, he can defend and has unlimited stamina and always ready to sacrifice for his teammates. It’s funny how some ppl think Kean is CR7’s replacement. Kean is not that guy, the guy is already at Juve. He is Chiesa.

  5. EL CID your Allegri will turn Chiesa to another wing-back.

“Kean is not that guy, the guy is already at Juve.” – Already what?? We’ve sold him before!

Replacing CR with Kean, with Allegri at the helm. Yeah right, that shows our ambition to win Serie A and UCL.

What a low-life stature club. Hopefully, Roma/Atalanta win this season.

  6. @Nana, what are you doing here? Your Hero is already at Manchester? Why are you still here, man? Back to topic, i said Kean is not that guy, i mean he is not CR7’s replacement. It’s Chiesa who is going to fill Ronaldo’s role. And can you please stop that boring ,negative sentiment towards Allegri? He knows football better than your lover Ronaldo along with you, one of the plastic fans.

  7. We got Moises Kean not John Carew you know? but wait, wasn’t it Inter who was supposed to sign Carew but he failed a Medical ? then i should rephrase it……Juve got Kean not Gabi-one-Gol !
