Juventus have formally lodged an appeal against a 15-point deduction handed by the FIGC Court of Appeal in January.

Sources have told Football Italia the Serie A giants have now filed an appeal to CONI after being handed a point penalty last month.

Juventus were docked 15 points for the current season in January in a second sporting trial looking into artificially inflated transfer values.

The Bianconeri had been cleared of allegations in April 2022, but new evidence that came to light with a criminal investigation carried forward by the Turin prosecutor led to a new trial of the FIC Court of Appeal and resulted in the point penalty.

The Court released the motivations of the ruling on January 30 and Juventus had 30 days to lodge their appeal, which they did on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side are three points below a Conference League placement in Serie A and host Torino at the Allianz Stadium on Tuesday night in the final match of Serie A Round 24.
