Juventus are doing battle with Milan for Santos forward Kaio Jorge, with his coach confirming ‘several European clubs want him.’

The 19-year-old has an impressive tally of six goals in 10 caps for Brazil at Under-17 level.

His contract only runs to December 2021, but Santos are asking for €10m to release him during the summer.

According to Sport Mediaset and Calciomercato.com, Juve have now joined Milan in the race to sign Kaio Jorge.

The Rossoneri remain the favourites, having proposed €6m, but Juve are not to be ruled out, especially if Cristiano Ronaldo is considering his future elsewhere.

Kaio Jorge found the net six times with three assists in 23 competitive games for Santos this season.

“Several European clubs want him,” Santos coach Fernando Diniz said during a press conference.

“Although young, Kaio plays with increasing maturity and character. He knows his role, believes in himself and is a top level striker.”

Napoli and Lazio had long been interested last year, but moved their focus over to different targets.

Elsewhere around the continent, Liverpool have been linked, although he’d be guaranteed a lot more playing time at Milan, who have a long history of success with Brazilian talents.
