Paul Pogba showed off his skiing exploits in designer clothing, prompting Juventus fans to warn the midfielder that ‘our patience has run out.’
The former Manchester United star has not played a single competitive match since returning to Turin as a free agent over the summer.
He picked up a meniscus injury in July during a pre-season tour of the Unites States, refused to have surgery for six weeks in the hope of recovering in time for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, then did go under the knife and is still no closer to a comeback after a relapse.
Nonetheless, Pogba went skiing on vacation and that proved the final straw for some of his supporters.
“Go and train, our patience is over,” wrote one, while another warned “if he gets hurt skiing I will lose my mind.”
Almost all the comments in response to the picture on his Instagram account were either sarcastic or downright angry, noting so far in this second stint as a Juventus player he’s done more as a social media influencer than a player.
It’s particularly galling considering Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer just ruled himself out for the rest of the season by breaking his leg while skiing.
